Job summary

Vosper Thornycroft Group in the Washington, DC area seeks Plans & Policy Officers (PPO) / Executive Officers (EXO) at Level 5 to support our client’s challenging operational requirements across multiple locations in the Washington Metropolitan Area.

The role requires advanced operations knowledge, program management across traditional and specialized initiatives, and serving as the essential link between field personnel and the Intelligence Community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 20+ years of applicable experience.
• Cable writing experience.
• Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.
• Familiarity with classified databases, including specific targeting tools.
• Strong briefing and writing skills; ability to work well with teams or individually with minimal supervision.
• Regional and/or functional expertise in a geographic region of interest.
• Initiative, creativity, technical excellence, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-starter who can multi-task and remain calm under pressure; able to work independently or in a group.
• Prior experience in supporting intelligence operations or familiarity with the Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program management from traditional operations to specialized initiatives.
• Serve as the vital link between personnel in the field and the Intelligence Community.
• Provide objective reviews of ongoing and potential operations.
