Job summary

VTG Defense seeks Plans & Policy Officers (PPO) / Executive Officers (EXO) III to support our Client's challenging operational requirements at multiple locations in the Washington Metropolitan Area.

These roles require a Bachelor's degree and 7-12 years of applicable experience, with cable writing proficiency and the ability to maintain a TS/SCI clearance and polygraph. Expect active engagement with intelligence operations and collaboration across teams and fields.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7-12 years of applicable experience
• Cable writing experience
• Must possess and have the ability to maintain a TS/SCI clearance and polygraph at the time of application
• Familiarity with classified databases, including specific targeting tools
• Strong briefing and writing skills as well as the ability to work well with teams or individually with minimal supervision
• Regional and/or functional expertise in a geographic region of interest
• Initiative, creativity, technical excellence, and strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-starter who can multi-task and remain calm under pressure with the ability to work both independently and in a group
• Prior experience in supporting intelligence operations or familiarity with the Intelligence Community and its objectives

Responsibilities

• Ideal candidates are inquisitive, investigative and action-oriented with the ability to take initiative and deliver solutions to complex operational problems, while identifying new technical tools and capabilities.
• Successful candidates are able to deal effectively and confidently with customer managers at all levels of responsibility.
• Executive Officers apply advanced knowledge and expertise of operations, operational tradecraft, and intelligence priorities when providing strategic guidance and operational case management.
• In addition, they are responsible for program management throughout the customer, from traditional operational activities to specialized initiatives.
• They provide objective reviews of ongoing and potential operations and serve as the vital link between personnel in the field and the Intelligence Community.
