Job summary

West Bay Collaborative is seeking a Strategic Planning & Performance Specialist to coordinate the monitoring system for federal programs and provide high-quality technical assistance to districts. The role supports LEAs in addressing findings and ensuring compliance with federal requirements while aligning school improvement efforts with district plans.

The position requires five years of relevant educational experience, a Bachelor’s degree in education or related field, and strong data

Qualifications

Five years or more in an educational role serving students or administering programs for at-risk students.
Ability to interpret written laws, regulations, and guidance on federal programs.
Experience creating and implementing federal grant applications and programs (preferred).
Ability to organize and present program materials for technical assistance to school districts.
Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records and reports of monitoring activities.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and implement the monitoring system for selected federal programs with Federal Programs Team and school/district leaders.
Provide support to LEAs recently monitored to address findings and achieve compliance with federal requirements.
Deliver high-quality technical assistance and professional learning to LEAs to meet federal program requirements and improve student outcomes.
Assist program staff in managing monitoring and data collection systems and coordinate with other offices’ initiatives.
Review, provide feedback, and help implement school improvement plans for Title I schools and district plans.
