Qualifications

• Master’s degree; Type A – EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION Louisiana Teaching Certificate; Additional criteria as established by the School Board.
• EXPERIENCE – Five years of successful professional school experience, three years of which must have been in the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Supports schools receiving Federal Programs funds to raise student performance.
• Provides on-site technical assistance for school-wide and targeted programs.
• Conducts on-site professional development for staff on reform and instructional practices.
• Assists in guiding and evaluating long-range school improvement plans.
• Analyzes innovative programs based on teaching and learning trends.
• Designs staff development programs and evaluations for admins, teachers, parents.
• Prepares reports to the Supervisor of Federal Programs as required.
• Keeps current on best practices and trends in education.
• Coordinates Federal Programs activities to ensure coordinated services.
• Provides courteous service to students, parents, and staff; manages records confidentiality.
