Job summary

Renesas is seeking a Staff Strategic Planner to drive long-range planning, commercial strategy, M&A and technology evaluation for the Power Product Group. You will provide decision support to the executive team and partner with multiple functional teams in a fast-growing semiconductor context.

The role emphasizes strategic analysis, project management, and clear executive communication to shape growth in AI-enabled datacenter infrastructure and edge devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field.
• 8 years of related experience within semiconductor industry, with experience at management consulting firms is a plus.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and communication skills.
• Experience with data-driven decision making and senior stakeholder support.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Analysis and Reporting: Conduct thorough analyses of market trends, competitive landscape, and internal performance metrics to inform strategic decisions.
• Project Management: Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring strategic projects to ensure timely completion and alignment with business goals.
• Decision Support: Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leaders.
• Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and ensure effective communication of strategic priorities across the Power Product Group.
• Operational Support: Aid in the development and implementation of processes and initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and support strategic objectives.
• Documentation and Presentations: Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and other documentation to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
