Job summary

Renesas Electronics in San Jose is seeking a Staff Strategic Planning Specialist to partner with the Power Product Group. The role drives long-range planning, commercial strategy, and executive communications as the Power business grows in AI and datacenter infrastructure.

This position blends strategic analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and data-powered decision support with strong Excel/BI skills and semiconductor knowledge. Location is on-site in Silicon Valley.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in semiconductor industry or related field.
• Experience in corporate strategy or related function is preferred.
• Management consulting background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market trend analyses and competitive benchmarking to inform strategy.
• Plan, execute, and monitor strategic projects and initiatives.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to senior leaders.
