Job summary

GAF seeks a Senior Director of Strategic Planning to architect and govern the enterprise IBP and strategic planning engine. This leader connects multi-year strategy, IBP execution, and the Annual Operating Plan, reporting to the Chief Transformation Officer.

They will drive the enterprise strategy cycle, align BU/category and functional strategies, and ensure seamless integration with finance and leadership for monthly/annual planning and execution.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive leadership in corporate strategy, IBP/S&OP, or enterprise transformation.
• Deep expertise in the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Strategic Planning methodologies.
• Ability to connect market intelligence, product category management, BU go-to-market strategies with core P&L outcomes.
• Experience leading cross-functional executive alignment without direct line authority.
• Ability to turn ambiguous, fragmented processes into standardized, calendar-driven planning cadences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and govern the annual Enterprise Strategy Cycle.
• Drive the design, deployment, and governance of the Integrated Planning model (IBP).
• Integrate BU + Product Category Strategies and Functional Strategies into a unified plan.
• Coordinate with Finance and Executive Leadership to feed the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and 5-year cash flow projections.
• Serve as the strategic connector across transformations and core tools (SAP, Salesforce, Master Data Management).
• Ensure strategies cascade into annual goal setting, performance reviews, compensation models, and leadership messaging.
