Job summary

Scandinavian Designs - Dania Furniture is seeking a Planning Analyst to manage buying and inventory flow from our Boise, ID headquarters. This exempt, full-time role emphasizes forecasting, data analysis, and strategic vendor negotiations to maximize profits.

Expect hands-on work with MS Excel and Power BI and close collaboration with Buying, Retail, and DC teams. Non-remote, on-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent purchasing experience required.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience forecasting and analyzing inventory trends.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales trends to optimize inventory and distribution.
• Maintain Buy Plan and forecasting tools in Excel and Power BI.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure product availability across units.
• Develop and maintain planning models and KPI reports.
• Forecast inventory buys and issue purchase orders to vendors.
• Collaborate with Buying and Retail teams on promotions and liquidation.
