Scandinavian Designs - Dania Furniture is seeking a Planning Analyst to manage buying and inventory flow from our Boise, ID headquarters. This full-time, non-remote role focuses on forecasting, supplier negotiations, and data-driven decision making to grow profits.

The candidate will analyze sales trends, maintain planning tools, and collaborate with Buying, Retail, and DC teams to optimize stock levels and margins.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory planning and forecasting to drive profitability.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to negotiate terms with vendors and manage supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales trends to optimize inventory flow across distribution centers.
• Maintain forecasting and planning tools (Buy Plan, Excel, Power BI).
• Monitor stock levels and ensure product availability across units.
• Create and maintain KPI reports and planning models.
• Forecast inventories and issue purchase orders to vendors.
• Collaborate with Buying, Retail, and DCs to balance stock and margins.
