Job summary

In Touch Pharmaceutical seeks a Purchasing Pharmacy Technician to manage pharmacy purchasing and inventory. You will work under Dispensing Manager, Director of Pharmacy, and VP of Pharmacy to ensure uninterrupted product flow and optimal stock levels.

Responsibilities include using inventory control programs, coordinating with wholesalers, reviewing daily purchasing needs, processing recalls, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA and regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak English and read/interpret documents.

• Ability to perform arithmetic calculations for dosage/stock considerations.

Responsibilities

• Utilize inventory control programs to achieve targeted inventory levels and turns.
• Review daily purchasing needs and ensure uninterrupted product flow to pharmacies.
• Coordinate recalls, back orders, and vendor communications; assist with price and contract considerations.
