Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a proactive Buyer/Pharmacy Technician to support inventory management and medication dispensing at our Jacksonville facilities.

Under supervision, you will optimize stock levels, negotiate with vendors, and ensure regulatory compliance. This PRN, mixed-shift role requires Florida registration as a Pharmacy Technician or current Pharmacist Intern and at least three years in pharmacy purchasing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• State of Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist Intern.
• 3 years of Pharmacy / Purchasing experience.

Responsibilities

• Continuously optimize inventory levels and manage drug backorders.
• Negotiate and procure drugs, supplies, and special orders from vendors.
• Generate and submit financial, regulatory, and variance reports on deadlines.
• Maintain an organized inventory system.
• Prepare and dispense medication doses under supervision of a Pharmacist.
• Monitor inventory levels and report items needing reordering.
• Replenish automated drug distribution cabinets and organize storage.
• Pack and barcode medications for tracking.
• Restock and transport emergency carts as needed.
