HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Manager to support the Director of Pharmacy and department leadership, directing daily staff workflow and coordinating pharmacy operations to sustain productivity and patient care.

The role includes recruiting and developing a capable team, enforcing policy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to budget planning and cost controls to deliver high-quality patient services.

Qualifications

• B.S. or PharmD. degree from an accredited college of Pharmacy required
• 4 years’ experience as a hospital pharmacist required
• ASHP accredited residency or advanced degree (MBA, MHA, MS) Preferred
• Applicable State Pharmacy License required
• Consultant License (if applicable per state) required

Responsibilities

• Manages and supervises Pharmacy operations, including policy formulation and day-to-day workflow supervision
• Assists in planning, development, organization, operation, and evaluation of pharmacy services
• Maintains information systems to optimize pharmacy workflow
• Ensures staff development, orientation, and ongoing training in coordination with management
• Ensures policies and procedures are updated and followed with the management team
• Ensures compliance with pharmacy laws and regulatory standards and participates in QA activities
• Assists with budget preparation and cost containment initiatives; provides management reports
