Qualifications

• PharmTech license or CPhT certification is required/preferred.
• 3 years of hospital pharmacy technician experience is required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and coordinate the workflow of the pharmacy department under the Pharmacy Manager.
• Ensure adherence to Board of Pharmacy, JCAHO, CMS and FDA standards.
• Perform all pharmacy technician duties as needed and support leadership with overtime planning.
• Assist in interviewing, hiring and training of pharmacy staff and maintain staff competencies.
• Prepare monthly pharmacy KPI reports and monitor quality assurance processes.
