Job summary

SCAN is a nonprofit health organization serving more than 500,000 people across multiple states. The Senior Manager, Data Analytics will lead a team of analysts, partnering with Pharmacy leadership to drive data-driven decisions in pharmacy operations and outcomes.

You will develop data models, dashboards, and reports, track KPIs, and collaborate on initiatives to improve cost-effectiveness and patient care. The role emphasizes mentorship, regulatory adherence, and strategic analytics leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, Data Science, Statistics, or related field; PharmD preferred.
• 3-5 years of healthcare analytics, pharmacy informatics, or related field.
• 2-3 years of demonstrated management/leadership experience.
• 2+ years of managed care experience with Part D at a PBM or health plan.
• Excellent analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership skills to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Detail-oriented with focus on accuracy and data integrity.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of CMS requirements and quality initiatives.
• Understanding Health IT interoperability and pharmacy data management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Pharmacy leadership and lead a team of analysts to collect, organize, and analyze healthcare data from diverse sources.
• Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs related to pharmacy operations, adherence, outcomes and financials.
• Identify trends and opportunities to improve pharmacy services, medication utilization, and cost-effectiveness.
• Define analytics priorities with leadership and set performance targets and metrics.
• Support regulatory compliance by providing data for audits and staying informed on industry trends and technology.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders through presentations, reports, and data visualizations.
• Mentor team members and oversee projects end-to-end.
• Anticipate changes in the pharmacy landscape including regs and benefit administration.
• Lead quantitative analyses to improve quality of care and utilization.
