Job summary

Bachem Americas is seeking a Senior Supply Planner to lead supply planning, ensuring material availability and feasible production plans. You will drive RCCP scenarios, maintain SAP/IBP master data, and collaborate with Production, QA, and Logistics to optimize the supply chain.

The role emphasizes cross-functional teamwork, data-driven decision making, and proactive planning in a fast-paced environment. A strong background in regulated industries and ERP systems is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or SCM with 3+ years of supply chain planning experience in regulated industries.
• Equivalent degree with 5+ years in SCM in biotech/pharma or related markets.
• Experience with planning production and materials in regulated industries (FDA) preferred.
• Strong Excel/Office proficiency and ERP familiarity (SAP/IBP or Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Ensure material availability (raw, intermediate, technical) to meet the supply plan.
• Develop and assess RCCP scenarios with production units.
• Support KPI tracking and master data maintenance in SAP/IBP as a key user.
• Deputy S&OP facilitator/Demand Planner.
• Monitor and release process orders; analyze past due production/planning.
• Create planning master data in SAP (recipes, BOMs, resources).
