Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA, LLC is seeking a Senior Materials Planner to lead material and supply planning for assigned product lines in a GMP-regulated environment. You will translate demand and production schedules into executable supply plans and act as the main liaison with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities include optimizing inventory, ensuring material availability, and driving continuous improvement in SAP data quality and planning processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in supply planning or a similar function.
• Strong knowledge of SAP MM/WM modules and SAP environments.
• Advanced understanding of MRP, purchasing, and inventory management.
• Proven ability to analyze data, assess trade-offs, and make decisions.
• Experience identifying supply risks and communicating recommendations to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute short- and mid-range supply plans aligned with demand, production, and inventory goals.
• Analyze MRP outputs, forecasts, lead times, safety stock, and supplier performance to set quantities and timing.
• Exercise independent procurement and material allocation decisions for assigned categories.
• Serve as the primary supply chain liaison with production units and suppliers, ensuring priority materials availability.
• Monitor supplier delivery, quality, and capacity; lead issue resolution with cross-functional teams.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans with contingency scenarios for leadership.
• Optimize inventory investment while maintaining service levels via policies and positioning.
• Maintain material master data, purchase requisitions, and SAP transactions (MM/WM).
