Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA is seeking a Senior Materials Planner to lead material and supply planning for assigned product lines, ensuring uninterrupted material availability and on-time production execution. You will translate demand and schedules into executable supply plans in SAP, serving as the main contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders.

The role requires strong analytical ability, experience with MRP, and the discipline to drive planning improvements while aligning with GMP requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, operations, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of SAP MM and WM modules and experience with SAP implementations or improvements preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of MRP, purchasing, production planning, inventory management, and material allocation.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute short- and mid-range supply plans aligned with production schedules, demand, and inventory goals.
• Analyze MRP outputs, forecasts, inventories, lead times, safety stock, and supplier performance to determine quantities and timing.
• Make procurement and material allocation decisions balancing service, cost, working capital, shelf life, and risk.
• Serve as the primary supply chain liaison for units and suppliers, maintaining proactive communication and expediting critical materials.
• Monitor supplier delivery, quality, capacity, and lead recovery plans with cross-functional teams.
• Identify risks early and develop contingency plans and leadership-ready recommendations.
• Optimize inventory by managing safety stocks, order policies, and aging or obsolete materials.
• Maintain SAP material master data, inventory balances, POs, and related planning transactions.
