Job summary

Bachem Americas is seeking a Senior Supply Planner in Vista, CA to ensure timely inventory availability by developing and executing short- and long-term supply plans. You will drive RCCP, scenario planning, and cross-functional collaboration with Production, PM, Customer Service, Warehouse, and Quality.

The role requires a degree in a related field with 3+ years in supply chain planning, or 5 years with an alternate degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Business Management, or Supply Chain Management with at least 3 years in supply chain planning.
• Equivalent Business degree with minimum 5 years of supply chain planning experience in biotech, chemical or pharma sectors.
• Experience planning production and materials in regulated industries (e.g., FDA).
• Strong ERP knowledge (SAP IBP or similar) and excellent analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensures materials availability to achieve the supply plan and communicates shortages to relevant departments.
• Creates and assesses RCCP scenarios in coordination with the production unit.
• Develops tools to monitor KPI's for supply chain processes and maintains SAP IBP master data.
• Acts as Deputy of the S&OP Facilitator/Demand Planner.
• Monitors and releases process orders and prepares related analyses and reports.
• Ensures correct material reservations and owns the Global Specs Process.
• Converts supply plan into process orders and conducts hand-over with scheduling.
• Maintains planning master data in SAP (recipes, disposition views, etc.).
