Job summary

Mars Incorporated in Chicago, IL is seeking a Business Performance Analyst to translate the integrated business planning (IBP) into measurable results. You will monitor BU health, identify leakage, and ensure delivery of core strategic initiatives that drive Mars' ambition.

You will dive into data to uncover root causes of performance misses, support scenario planning, and facilitate monthly reviews. The role offers exposure to cross-functional teams, a fast-paced environment, and opportunities

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
1+ years of experience in CPG, food, beverage, or consumer products background.
Experience with Excel, PowerBI, Nielsen, Anaplan, and Kinaxis.

Responsibilities

The Monthly Health Check: consolidate IBP performance data from all BUs, identify red flags for MBR.
Track and report on value drivers such as Innovation Health, Promotion ROI, and Waste Reduction.
Initiate Tracking to ensure teams execute strategic projects or set actions to deliver them.
Assist Sr. Director in preparing What-If scenarios for ALT.
Support Center-to-BU governance by orchestrating the monthly Center-level MBR and highlighting critical trade-offs.
Maintain the Action Log for the IBP cycle to ensure commitments are executed.
