Job summary

Mars Incorporated seeks a Senior Analyst Finance to act as the financial backbone of the Global Mars Snacking Innovation Incubation Team. You will bridge rigorous accounting with entrepreneurial financial co-piloting, establishing cost architecture and unit economics for rapid product tests while leading period close and P&L reporting.

You will partner across the global innovation community to develop viable business models, forecast profitability, and support POCs, pilots, and incubation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related quantitative field.
• 1–2+ years of foundational accounting or finance experience with GL accounting, period close, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, debits/credits, depreciation and P&L dynamics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP/ERP environments (Atlas) and intercompany structures.
• Experience with unit economics and costing models for tests.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial modeling for pipeline concepts, including cost architecture and forecasting.
• Support POCs, pilots, test markets, and incubation initiatives with finance input.
• Lead period-end and year-end close, ensuring accurate reporting and cost allocations.
• Deliver project P&Ls, variance analyses, and management reporting with stakeholders.
• Manage tax reporting and internal controls across DTC channels.
