Job summary

Aon is hiring a North America People Business Partner to join our People Organization in the US. This hybrid role supports leaders across client groups, shaping HR strategy and driving high-performance teams.

You will collaborate with COEs, lead annual cycles (performance, talent, compensation, engagement), and guide change management while championing inclusion and people analytics across designated groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant industry experience.
• 7+ years professional HR experience across roles.
• Experience in change management, performance management, conflict management, talent management, employee engagement, and workforce planning.
• Knowledge of US employment laws and current People trends.
• Ability to interpret data and translate into trends.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel up to 10% annually.

Responsibilities

• Influence, coach, and counsel leaders on people-related matters to foster an inclusive culture.
• Understand business goals and recommend HR approaches to improve objectives and development.
• Collaborate with COEs on initiatives to support business needs.
• Support workforce planning and change management communications.
• Guide adoption of new People programs and policies.
• Manage annual cycle activities across client groups (performance, talent, compensation, engagement).
• Coach managers to drive continuous improvement and accountability.
• Contribute to HR integration between Aon Affinity and Totalis.
• Support colleague engagement and action planning across client groups.
• Champion diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.
• Participate in global/regional ad-hoc projects as needed.
