Job summary

Form Energy is hiring a strategic HR leader to partner with California leaders, focusing on Product Engineering in Berkeley. You’ll drive people strategy, org design, and change initiatives while coaching senior leaders and handling complex employee relations.

This role blends strategic planning with hands-on problem solving in a fast-growing environment. You’ll work onsite in Berkeley, at least four days per week, and help scale high-impact HR programs across the CA team, partnering with COEs

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including support for product/engineering in high-growth settings.
• Proven track record of change management and strategic advisory to senior leaders.
• Business acumen with ability to tie People strategy to business outcomes.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders.
• Solid knowledge of California and federal labor laws.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner and coach to senior leadership, advising on org design and workforce planning.
• Drive talent programs such as performance management, career pathing, and succession planning.
• Serve as a visible site HR presence for the California workforce and align teams.
• Guide employee relations, investigations, and policy application with speed and fairness.
• Use People data and analytics to inform strategic decisions and identify trends.
• Collaborate with COEs (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Benefits) to deliver integrated programs.
