Job summary

Rantec Power Systems, Inc is seeking a Materials Commodity Manager for PCBs to lead strategic and tactical management of the PCB portfolio and supply base. The role balances long-term planning with day-to-day procurement, optimizing material availability, delivery performance, and cost while partnering with Engineering and Quality teams.

Responsibilities include owning the PCB commodity strategy, acting as Buyer for PCB materials, managing POs, and developing proactive sourcing and supplier

Qualifications

• B.S. degree or equivalent in business administration or related field.
• 10+ years production support experience, preferably in electronics.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
• Experience with APQP is desirable.
• Knowledge of First Article Inspection (AS9102) is desirable.
• Ability to develop planning solutions using MS Project or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain PCB commodity strategy, balancing technical capability, quality, cost, delivery, capacity, and risk.
• Serve as the Buyer for PCB portfolio; interpret demand, generate POs, and ensure material availability.
• Manage PCB purchase orders from placement through receipt and resolve issues.
• Translate anticipated requirements into proactive sourcing, purchasing, capacity, inventory, and supplier strategies.
• Develop supplier audits, scorecards, and continuous improvement plans.

Education

B.S. degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Industrial Technology, Industrial Engineering, or similar field
