Qualifications

• Advanced degree with 4+ years in engineering, purchasing, contracts, material or production planning, or supply chain management, or 10+ years in one or more.
• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience in one or more relevant areas.
• Experience and certifications in sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategies to minimize risk and achieve cost savings.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders to design strategic sourcing models.
• Communicate and enforce compliance with sourcing strategies.
• Identify cost reduction initiatives and report progress regularly.
• Analyze financial impacts and assess performance for categories.
• Establish supplier SLAs and KPIs; track performance and results.
• Lead market research, benchmarking, and contract negotiations.
• Draft and manage contract documentation with Legal.
• Manage contracts to ensure supplier obligations are met.
• Drive value, reduce waste, and streamline processes.
• Maintain roster of preferred suppliers and implement supplier management programs.
• Issue purchase orders and resolve blocked invoices.
• Lead initiatives to reduce transaction volume.
