Job summary

Avo Photonics is seeking a diligent Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations and ensure accurate, timely processing with compliance to laws and company policies. Work closely with HR, finance, and other departments to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in a related field, CPP preferred, and seven years of progressive payroll experience in a multi-state or international environment, with at least two years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• CPP preferred.
• Seven years of progressive payroll experience in a high-volume, multi-state/international environment with at least two years supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing and compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the payroll staff.
• Develop, document, and implement payroll policies and procedures.
• Administer and maintain payroll systems; lead upgrades and enhancements.
• Protect payroll information per policy and data privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with HR and finance to verify payroll information.
• Assist with internal and external audits and ensure deadlines.
