Job summary

Methow Valley School District is seeking a knowledgeable Payroll and Human Resources Director to lead district business and HR operations and ensure accurate payroll, consistent employment practices, and responsive staff support.

Working with the Superintendent, Business Manager, administrators, and the District Office team, the Director provides technical expertise, manages essential payroll and HR processes, and strengthens systems supporting employees and schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, human resources, management, or a related field.
• Professional experience in payroll, accounting, human resources, or a closely related field.
• Experience in a school district or public entity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll and HR processes for the district.
• Ensure compliance with employment contracts, regulations, and confidentiality.
