Job summary

Methow Valley School District is seeking a knowledgeable Payroll and Human Resources Director to lead our district’s payroll and HR operations. This role ensures accurate pay, consistent personnel practices, and responsive, professional support for staff.

Working closely with the Superintendent, Business Manager, school administrators, and District Office staff, you will oversee key processes, implement improvements, and help build systems that support employees and schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, human resources, management, or a related field.
• Professional experience in payroll, accounting, human resources, or a closely related field.
• Professional business or central office experience in a school district or other public entity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll and HR processes across the district.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, laws, and regulations.
• Provide responsive, professional support to staff.
