Job summary

Methow Valley School District is seeking a knowledgeable, collaborative Payroll and Human Resources Director to lead the district’s payroll and HR operations. The role ensures accurate payroll, consistent employment practices, and professional staff support.

Working with the Superintendent, Business Manager, and District Office, the Director provides technical expertise, manages essential payroll/HR processes, and strengthens systems supporting employees and schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, accounting, HR, management, or related field.
• Professional experience in payroll, accounting, HR, or related field.
• Experience in a school district or public entity is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll and HR operations for the district.
• Provide leadership in district business and HR processes.
• Ensure accurate payroll, compliant practices, and responsive staff support.
