Job summary

WestCare Foundation Inc in Henderson, NV seeks a Payroll, Insurance and Benefits Specialist to support semi-monthly payroll processing, benefits administration, and insurance recordkeeping. The role collaborates with HR, accounting and operations to ensure accurate records and timely service.

You will assist with payroll inquiries, open enrollment, onboarding and offboarding related to benefits, and maintain HRIS data.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior payroll or benefits experience preferred.
• Strong Excel experience required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, reviewing, and verifying semi-monthly payroll for accuracy and completeness.
• Help resolve employee payroll and benefits inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Assist with reporting and auditing within the payroll and benefits departments.
• Assist with routine payroll, insurance and benefit duties between payrolls.
• Track and update employee benefit status changes in HRIS/payroll systems.
• Review, process, and upload garnishment documents to HRIS system.
• Assist with open enrollment processes and communications.
• Coordinate with HR, Accounting and Operations on all Insurance, Payroll and Benefits related items.
