Job summary

Border States Industries, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Payables and Receivables in Fargo, ND.

The role provides enterprise-wide leadership across AP, AR, expense management, corporate card and fleet administration, vendor disbursements, and related transactional accounting activities. The manager will lead a broad, multi-functional team, drive process standardization, ensure policy compliance, and partner with stakeholders to optimize performance and support audits, M&A integrations, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related business field.
8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting preferred.
Professional licensure preferred.
Prior people management experience required.
Experience with workforce planning and employee development preferred.
Experience leading process improvement and system implementations.
Experience with integration of acquired businesses preferred.
Intermediate Excel knowledge.

Responsibilities

Owns end-to-end processes across AP, AR, expense management, corporate card, fleet, vendor disbursements, cash application, and related activities.
Establishes and maintains consistent operating processes, workflows, and performance standards.
Maintains policies and SOPs and ensures consistent execution by teams.
Oversees effectiveness of processes from initiation to completion with cross-department handoffs.
Leads use of Concur, Motus, corporate cards, and related expense systems for compliance and accuracy.
Leads a multi-functional org through direct reports and supervisors.
