Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking an experienced analytics professional to plan and execute payment strategy development and manage detailed accounts receivable analytics of moderate to high complexity. You will collaborate with finance teams to improve cash flow and reporting accuracy.

The role requires strong quantitative skills, data extraction expertise, and the ability to navigate multiple systems while ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a quantitative field (math, stats, CS, engineering, economics, finance, accounting).
• 3 years of analytical/quantitative experience in business processing, systems development, or operations research.
• Demonstrated experience with accounts payable and payment management, financial analysis, and computer modeling.
• Strong human relations, communications, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans and executes organizational strategies and programs.
• Applies extensive knowledge of tools to perform system analysis and thorough analysis of business inquiry, navigating systems and processes for root cause.
• Understands and extracts data from internal sources and methods for data extraction efficiencies. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
• Perform other duties as required.
