Job summary

FedEx Group is seeking a data analytics professional to translate large data sets into actionable business insights, building dashboards and metrics that influence strategic and operational decisions.

You will own the design and execution of experiments, advance predictive analyses, and collaborate with internal customers to anticipate needs, while presenting complex findings clearly to leadership.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field plus 3 years’ experience in quantitative analytics.
• Alternative: Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years in quantitative analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience building front-end dashboards with Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI and/or d3.js.
• Advanced SQL knowledge to query large datasets and optimize performance.
• Experience in statistical analysis for hypothesis testing and prediction.
• Proficiency in Python, R and/or SAS.
• ETL concepts: acquiring, cleansing, and combining data.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Industrial Engineering background.
• Project Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide data-driven insights to solve strategic problems.
• Develop and modify key business metrics and dashboards.
• Design and execute experiments to support decisions.
• Collaborate with internal customers to anticipate needs.
• Transform and integrate data for analysis.
• Conduct advanced analysis on large datasets and present results.
• Develop business impact studies for major initiatives.
• Support leadership with ad-hoc data analyses and recommendations.
• Travel as required for on-site collaboration (~10%).
