Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, CS, or related field.
• Typically 4–6 years in patch management or related security roles.
• Strong understanding of patch management principles and tools (WSUS/SCCM).
• Proven problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience in assessments, audits, and automated patch solutions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment, testing, and deployment of OS and application patches across enterprise endpoints.
• Design and maintain patching schedules and maintenance windows.
• Troubleshoot failed patches and coordinate with admins and owners on fixes.
• Implement automated patch management workflows and deadlines.
• Monitor vulnerability feeds and compliance dashboards to prioritize patches.
• Document patch management procedures and reporting methods.
• Collaborate with vulnerability management and security teams to align with threats.
