Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Typically 4–6 years in patch management or related infrastructure security roles.
Strong patch management knowledge with WSUS and SCCM.
Proven problem solving, analytical and communication skills.
Experience in assessments, audits, and automated patch management solutions.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Lead assessment, testing, and deployment of OS and application patches across enterprise endpoints.
Design and maintain patching schedules and maintenance windows.
Troubleshoot and remediate failed patches, coordinating with admins and app owners.
Implement automated patch management workflows with targeting and rules.
Monitor vulnerability feeds and compliance dashboards to prioritize deployments.
Document patch management procedures and reporting for audits.
Collaborate with vulnerability management and security teams on threats.
