Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT/CS or related field.
• 4–6 years in patch management, systems administration, or related security roles.
• Strong understanding of patch management principles and tools such as WSUS and SCCM.
• Proven problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with multitasking ability.
• Experience with assessments, audits, and automated patch management solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment, testing, and deployment of OS and application patches across enterprise endpoints.
• Design patching schedules and maintenance windows to minimize business impact and meet security requirements.
• Troubleshoot failed patches and coordinate with admins and owners on fixes.
• Implement automated patch workflows and tuning for better coverage.
• Monitor vulnerabilities and prioritize deployments based on risk and SLAs.
• Document procedures, baselines, exceptions, and reporting methods for audits.
• Collaborate with vulnerability management and security teams on threats and compliance.
