Job summary

StationServ Holdings, LLC is seeking a Purchasing Agent to source and purchase parts, equipment, and supplies supporting service, construction, compliance, and distribution operations. The role places and manages purchase orders, negotiates with vendors, and coordinates with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in purchasing/inventory, strong Excel and vendor-management skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of purchasing, parts, inventory, or related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, and inventory/purchasing software.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and vendor-relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase parts, equipment, materials, and supplies based on job, work order, customer, and stock requirements.
• Obtain and compare vendor quotes for pricing, availability, and lead times; recommend vendors to the Purchasing Manager.
• Issue, track, and expedit e purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery; communicate delays and backorders to requesters.
• Manage inventory transfers between locations and post related paperwork.
• Identify and report discrepancies, over-shipments, and substitutions to the Purchasing Manager.
