Qualificações

• Two years' experience as a buyer or equivalent.
• Typing skills with accuracy and purchasing regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with sales reps and staff.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a detailed, organized manner.
• Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook.
• SAP experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Research products and analyze alternative product lines to increase profitability.
• Assist Purchasing Manager with inventories audits for branches.
• Process requisitions, clarify specifications, and create purchase orders.
• Follow up on back orders, expedite deliveries, and communicate delivery dates to the department.
• Research and select vendors, evaluate vendor performance, and utilize different sources.
• Maintain up-to-date pricing and vendor files; notify sales force of pricing updates.
