Job summary

Public Allies Cincinnati seeks a Program Manager - Strategic Partnerships & Recruitment to drive candidate recruitment, build diverse pipelines, and coordinate signature community events. You will collaborate with senior staff to manage outreach, marketing, and volunteer coordination, delivering coaching support to Allies.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, event management, and active ambassador duties within the Cincinnati community, with occasional evenings/weekends for events.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in talent recruitment, community outreach, partnership development, or marketing/event management.
• Proven ability to plan and execute large public events and community gatherings.
• Strong relationship-building skills with diverse networks and partnerships.
• Experience leveraging social media for recruitment and audience engagement.

• Strong written, verbal, and public presentation skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for recruitment and events.

Responsibilities

• Design, lead, and execute Ally recruitment and selection to build a diverse cohort.
• Build strategic community partnerships with colleges, grassroots orgs, and local networks.
• Oversee candidate intake, interviews, background checks, and orientation.
• Manage local marketing campaigns and social media with the national team.
• Plan and execute major public-facing site events like Meet the Allies and Graduation.
• Recruit, onboard, schedule, and direct event volunteers for logistics.
• Serve as an ambassador for Public Allies Cincinnati at events and fairs.
• Provide coaching support for a cohort of up to ten Allies.
