Job summary

Food Bank for the Heartland seeks a Project Coordinator for the Community Impact Network Relations team. You will bridge agency partners, internal teams, and community stakeholders, turning complex information into clear communication and coordinated action.

You will support the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Programs, coordinate timelines, onboarding, trainings, and site visits, and help expand access to nutritious food through effective program implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 2 years of experience in project coordination, agency relations, or community-focused work.
• Nonprofit, food banking, or community partnership experience is a strong plus.
• Lived experience with the impacts of systemic racism or marginalization is valued.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate agency relations projects, initiatives, and strategic priorities.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, milestones, and follow-up activities.
• Act as central communication hub among agency partners, CSRs, internal teams, and leadership.
• Maintain project tracking systems and documentation.
• Onboard agency partners, train CSRs, and support relationship management.
• Translate complex information into clear, accessible content and training materials.
