Job summary

The Washington Post seeks an experienced operations leader to Transform partnership strategies into scalable, repeatable business implementations. You will align cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Marketing to launch strategic partnerships, AI licensing initiatives, and new revenue models.

You’ll drive governance, playbooks, and dashboards, ensuring execution discipline, time-to-market, and sustainable growth in a fast-moving media tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Operations, Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in business operations, partnership operations, or related strategic operations function.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional implementation initiatives from planning through launch.
• Strong ability to translate commercial objectives into operational requirements and scalable execution.
• Experience working with Product and Engineering organizations and communicating between technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational planning for strategic partnership launches with roadmaps, governance, milestones and accountability.
• Translate commercial partnership objectives into scalable operational and technical plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional implementation efforts across Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and more.
• Lead technical discovery to identify integration requirements, data dependencies, and risks.
• Evaluate approaches for AI licensing, content distribution, subscriptions, and other business models.
