Job summary

The World Bank Group, through its Global Infrastructure Facility (GIF), seeks a Senior Partnership Specialist to lead donor engagement, governance, and partnership strategy. You will work across governments, MDBs, and private partners to mobilize resources for infrastructure and project preparation.

You will advise senior leadership, coordinate across units, and help shape the GIF’s external positioning and donor intelligence in a fast‑moving international development context.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in donor relations, governance, resource mobilization, and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong understanding of international development architecture and political economy.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic engagement with GIF Funding Partners and other priority financing partners.
• Develop donor outreach materials, funding proposals, and strategic communications.
• Prepare briefing materials and talking points for senior management engagements with ministers and directors.
• Coordinate governance processes and onboarding of new technical partners and advisory council members.
• Provide strategic analysis on risks and opportunities affecting donor relations and governance.
