Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an experienced professional for Global Infrastructure Credit, embedded across lines of business to support sustainable infrastructure finance and project lending.

You will lead underwriting, risk analysis, and client negotiations, ensuring alignment with risk/return objectives and regulatory requirements. This role emphasizes mentorship, complex deal structuring, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in commercial banking or finance with significant credit, tax equity, and infrastructure/energy project finance experience.
• MBA or equivalent; engineering, mathematics, or technical degrees considered with an MBA.
• Strong understanding of financial models and analysis.
• Experience in analyzing and managing highly complex, project‑oriented transactions (tax equity and debt).
• Strong credit and risk analysis skills; able to review and interpret complex transaction documents.

Responsibilities

• Partner with relationship management and product partners to assess clients' credit needs and create solutions.
• Lead loan structure conversations and negotiate loan documentation with clients and internal/external legal partners.
• Drive credit and risk approval processes for new originations, renewals, increases, and modifications.
• Mentor and support associates on the team.
• Support underwriting and documentation of project finance and other credit facilities per risk/return objectives.
• Support financial modeling, loan structure, and industry analyses for loan decisions.
• Ensure adherence to credit policies, guidelines, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative due diligence to support underwriting decisions.
• Review credit profiles of counterparties and assess structural and stress considerations.
• Monitor client performance and proactively identify issues and opportunities.
