Job summary

Georgia Highlands College seeks a Director of Strategic Engagements and Grant Initiatives to serve as a bridge between campus operations and the college's mission. The role partners with the GHC Foundation and the Office of the President to align events with the mission, cultivate new partnerships, and advance high-impact projects across divisions.

You will lead strategic engagement, content development, and event planning for signature programs, while coordinating cross-divisional initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, business, education or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years progressive leadership experience and proven record of cultivating community relationships.
• Experience in creating strategic content including written material and social media engagement.
• Familiarity with grant funding sources.

Responsibilities

• Aligns events, partnerships, and engagement opportunities with strategic priorities.
• Identifies and develops strategic partnership opportunities with community organizations, industry, and regional stakeholders.
• Develops frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of events, initiatives, and partnerships.
• Collaborates to support engagement strategies that contribute to resource development.
• Leads planning and execution of high-impact, cross-divisional initiatives from the President's Office.
• Develops strategic content to support presidential priorities and initiatives.
• Maintains oversight of institutional storytelling across events and initiatives.
