Job summary

Samsung Ads in New York is seeking a Director to lead New Business Development and Strategy for Samsung’s cross-platform service business. You will identify and execute strategic partnerships that drive revenue, enable new products and services, and enhance the experience across Samsung’s device ecosystem.

The role requires negotiating contracts, collaborating on product strategy, and guiding high-impact projects with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Strong written, verbal communication, presentation, financial modeling and analytical skills required.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple complex assignments and projects.
• Experience leading complex, senior level negotiations; Experience communicating with and presenting to C-level leadership.

Responsibilities

• Inform long-term service strategy and product roadmap.
• Source, define and execute on first-of-their kind TV partnership opportunities for Samsung’s service business.
• Evaluate new opportunities, provide strategic direction, and secure buy-in from internal and external executives.
• Build and deploy implementation plans that ensure project success.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing, ops), acting as point on all aspects of the partnership strategy and execution.
• Work with Product, Engineering, Marketing and BD groups across Samsung business units to develop new businesses, products and features that leverage Samsung’s ecosystem of devices.
