At Avalara, we're transforming how businesses manage the complexity of global tax compliance. As a high-growth SaaS company, we're driving innovation in a massive market—and we're looking for a visionary Global Head of the NetSuite Partnership to lead one of our most strategic alliances.

This is a senior leadership role, accountable for building our global NetSuite partnership strategy. You'll oversee the vision and growth of this high-impact relationship—delivering measurable outcomes in revenue acceleration, joint innovation, and partner success.

We will consider remote candidates. You will report to our VP and GM, Global Partner Development.

What Your Responsibilities Will Be

As the global leader & General Manager of our NetSuite partnership, you will:

  • Manage a global go-to-market strategy with NetSuite and its ecosystem, architecting a multi-year growth plan that aligns with Avalara's long-term vision.
  • Establish deep executive understanding across NetSuite's global organization and main ecosystem partners—becoming a trusted advisor and strategic counterpart.
  • Lead joint product strategy and new ideas, defining a 12-month rolling roadmap that reflects Avalara's platform vision and NetSuite's evolving needs.
  • Translate opportunity into action, using data-driven business cases and trade-off analysis to influence decisions around product, programs, and commercial models.
  • Harness AI and modern toolsets to grow strategic partnership management.
  • Deliver measurable outcomes, ensuring the partnership drives recurring revenue growth, solution adoption, and customer/partner satisfaction.
  • Be the global orchestrator, aligning our teams—Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and International—to maximize partner impact.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

  • Strategic leadership: 10+ years in global partner management, business development, or strategy consulting, with experience managing high-growth partnerships. Undergraduate degree in business/technical field; MBA preferred.
  • ERP domain expertise: Knowledge of the ERP ecosystem; direct experience with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Impact experience: Proven ability to guide partner-influenced revenue growth, lead strategic plans, and deliver wins at scale.
  • Influence: Ability to navigate complex organizations, engage C-level executives, and build trust across regions.
  • Product experience: Comfort with technical product management, road-mapping, and co-development strategies.
  • Data fluency: Skilled in analysis and performance measurement to inform partner strategy and optimization.
  • Global mindset: Experience managing international relationships, adapting to market nuances, and working across diverse cultures and business contexts.
  • Change driver: Experience with innovation, experimentation, and leveraging AI/automation in partner management.

Pay Range Details

The base pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state-specific laws. Pay ranges may vary in other locations.

  • Colorado: $148,800 - $245,600 (Annual Salary)
  • Washington: $148,800 - $271,500 (Annual Salary)
  • California: $148,800 - $297,300 (Annual Salary)
  • New York: $164,500 - $297,300 (Annual Salary)

The pay range above is the general base pay range for the respective state. Your actual salary may depend on factors like location, experience, and market considerations. The role is eligible for an annual bonus based on performance.
