Google Mountain View, CA is seeking a Strategic Partnerships Development Manager to architect go-to-market strategies and manage a diverse set of external partners. This full-time role offers a US base salary range of $146,650-$204,000 plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in Strategic Partnerships Development or related field.
  • Alternatively, MBA and 3+ years in Strategic Partnerships Development or related field.
  • 3+ years in: end-to-end management of complex strategic partnerships, deal structuring, executive stakeholder engagement, cross-functional alignment and financial/benefits assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies with key partners to achieve business goals.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with a diverse partner portfolio for long-term value.
  • Lead complex negotiations for new deals, renewals, and expansions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee end-to-end partner experience from contract to integration and ongoing support; analyze performance and forecast impact.
  • Domestic travel of more than 10% annually.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or a related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Strategic Partnerships Development-related occupation.
  • Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Strategic Partnerships Development-related occupation.
  • Position requires 3 years of experience in the following: End-to-end management of complex strategic partnerships or Complex deal management; Structuring commercial terms for strategic partnership agreements or Developing deal structures; Influencing senior leadership on strategic business decisions or Executive stakeholder engagement; Cross-functional stakeholder management across all organizational levels or Internal stakeholder alignment; and Financial and business benefit assessment of potential partnerships or Investment banking analysis for partnership evaluation.

Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $146,650 - $204,000 + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and strategic initiatives with key partners to achieve overarching business goals.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with a diverse portfolio of external partners, ensuring long-term value and mutual success.
  • Lead complex negotiations for new deals, renewals, and expansions, driving consensus among internal and external executive stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams across multiple regions to launch, improve, and scale new product features and user experiences.
  • Oversee the end-to-end partner experience, from contract finalization and integration to issue resolution and ongoing support. Analyze partner performance by tracking key business metrics, building forecasts, and conducting industry research to inform product and partnership strategy.
  • The position requires domestic travel of more than 10% annually.
