Job summary

Blank Rome LLP is seeking a Manager of Partner Recruiting to oversee day-to-day operations and advance lateral partner hiring initiatives. The role partners with senior leaders to drive strategic growth and ensure smooth onboarding, with a hybrid work arrangement across the New York or Philadelphia areas.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience in the law firm industry.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate with all levels in the firm.
• Client service oriented, highly responsive, and able to interface with executive leadership.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities.
• Willingness to work extended hours as needed; discretion and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with firm leadership to execute growth goals for partner recruiting.
• Guide candidates through recruiting, onboarding, and integration processes.
• Serve as primary contact for candidates and search firms during lateral hiring.
• Onboard lateral partners seamlessly and manage travel logistics.
• Develop relationships with legal search firms and negotiate proposals.
• Coordinate with branding/marketing to support recruitment objectives.
• Maintain recruitment data and create presentations as needed.
• Train and develop the Lateral Partner Recruiting Assistant.
