Job summary

Amazon is seeking a leader with packaging procurement experience to strategically source packaging products for North America Customer Fulfillment Procurement. This role coordinates with multiple teams, negotiates with suppliers, and drives category strategies to deliver savings and improve productivity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of cross-functional work with tech and non-tech teams.
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvements using data and metrics.
• 2+ years of supply chain experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookup) and SQL knowledge.
• Experience defining program requirements and using data to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Establish category sourcing strategies, lead cross-functional teams, negotiate with suppliers and execute contracts to optimize Amazon’s competitive position.
• Drive relationships with category suppliers to achieve cost of ownership targets and value.
• Manage category suppliers to identify, monitor, and optimize opportunities.
• Act as a market intelligence provider regarding categories and inform key stakeholders.
• Lead supplier relationship management activities to mitigate risk and improve performance.
• Identify, achieve, and report on savings and value targets for sourcing activities.
• Align with internal customers to understand business applications of the category.
