Job summary

Amazon is seeking a leader with procurement and sustainability experience to develop and execute a strategy to reduce scope 3 emissions globally for Global Customer Fulfillment. You will coordinate with multiple teams and suppliers to align on packaging decarbonization, track carbon metrics, and drive data-driven decisions.

The role requires ownership of the carbon program, collaboration with executives, and the ability to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Experience managing programs or projects.
• Experience in supply chain.
• Ability to use data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience owning end-to-end program strategy and communicating results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Architect the vision, roadmap, and strategy for decarbonization of Packaging scope 3 emissions.
• Develop mechanisms to track history, forecasts, and data fidelity of carbon footprint.
• Collaborate with Category leaders to define short- and long-term decarbonization plans.
• Lead setting and tracking carbon intensity reduction goals and align across executives.
• Prepare narratives and briefs for executives on the carbon program.
• Drive tactical decarbonization roadmaps and pilot lower carbon solutions.
• Act as the liaison for carbon across Procurement.
