Job summary

Amazon is seeking a packaging procurement leader to strategically source packaging products for North America Customer Fulfillment. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver savings, develop category strategies, and support supplier performance in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of program management, cross-functional experience, advanced Excel and SQL skills, and a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years cross-functional work with tech and non-tech teams.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Establish category sourcing strategies, lead cross-functional teams, negotiate with suppliers, and execute contracts.
• Drive relationships with suppliers to optimize cost of ownership and performance.
• Manage category suppliers to identify and optimize opportunities.
• Act as market intelligence provider for categories and inform stakeholders.
• Lead supplier relation activities to mitigate risk and add value.
• Identify and report savings and value targets for sourcing activities.
